Here's what it looks like when it's dark and dreary outside, which it usually is around here in the winter. Add a little rain, and normally no one skates.

This was late November, we had only the plywood down, and had to test it out. Boy was it noisy. We only rode it once like this.

After securing some masonite from Everett's Ramp and roll (They went out of business, like Raincity and Kenmore's "The Block"). I was able to resurface the whole thing with maso, including a three sheets of skatelite from Mark. It's much quieter now. And my tread mill is almost complete.

Mike from Gravity came up for the inaugural session (Dec.8th '03). And he just rules mini ramps. Here he's in the midst of a fakie pop, which he landed in a smith grind.
|
John called said he would be in the area, so I finished it up for the inaugural session.

You know that feeling when you get that first cool skateboard for Christmas? Well, that's how Jeremy's feeling right about now. He's stoked.
|
I had to build an extension to vert. It has about 10 inches of vert.
|
Jeremy's first question, was, how are we going to get up that high? I tried to explain, that if it's not hard, then it's not fun.
|
Jeremy had to drop in off the extension, then he had to rock to fakie it. And he thought it was too high when I was building it!

Jeremy blasting a frontside Ollie.
